Frank is a retired Lieutenant Colonel from the US army. He happens to be blind and it is extremely difficult to get along with him.
A prep school student, Charlie, needs some money to pay for a trip home for the holidays.
He agrees to babysit Frank over the Thanksgiving holiday. Frank's niece assures Charlie that it will be easy money watching over him.
However, the job of watching him turns out to be nothing like he expected it to be.
